As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert financial support and analysis to aid decision-making across the organization.

Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality financial reports and analysis, including the production of monthly management accounts and supporting the production of statutory accounts and external audits. You will also be responsible for budget-setting and reforecasting processes, providing financial expertise and support to budget-holders across the charity, and working collaboratively with the rest of the team to deliver financial planning and analysis functions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our passionate employees, volunteers, and supporters to make a positive impact on the lives of millions of cats and the people who care for them.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide expert financial support and analysis to aid decision-making across the organization
* Deliver high-quality financial reports and analysis, including monthly management accounts and statutory accounts
* Support the production of external audits and provide financial expertise to budget-holders
* Collaborate with the Finance team to deliver financial planning and analysis functions

Requirements:

* CCAB qualification
* Collaborative and proactive approach, working with Finance and wider colleagues to solve problems and improve work
* Confident use of accounting packages, data manipulation, and information assimilation from multiple sources
* Experience of the Management Accountant role in a large organization (250 employees)
* Ability to explain financial matters to non-technical customers with excellent oral and written communication skills
