We are currently seeking an experienced Learning Disabilities Social Worker to join our team in the London Borough of Redbridge. As a Learning Disabilities Social Worker, you will have a post-qualifying experience of working as a Learning Disabilities Social Worker and hold HCPC Registration.

The successful candidate will work with a well-structured and organized team that provides excellent support and training to enhance your skills. The initial contract will be for 3-6 months with the potential for extension based on internal circumstances and your performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Load Management
  • Completing reviews and assessments
  • Working alongside other agencies
  • Ensuring the protection of vulnerable adults
  • Promoting service users' choices, control, and independence
  • Supporting service users to live safely and independently in their own homes
  • Assessing and reviewing existing service users placed in care homes
  • Reviewing residential, nursing home, or day center placements
  • Working effectively with other professionals

Requirements:

  • Post-qualifying experience of working as a Learning Disabilities Social Worker
  • HCPC Registration
  • 1-2 years post-qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
