Job Description

Job Title: Field Applications Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Applications Specialist to join our team at ACS Performance. As a Field Applications Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering application projects on time, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installations and develop scripts to meet customer specifications
  • Develop and deliver customer training courses
  • Compile statistics and presentations as required
  • Perform preventative maintenance visits and repairs
  • Ensure accurate hours are logged daily
  • Troubleshoot issues and escalate problems when they impact project delivery timelines
  • Complete customer handover documentation, including customer sign-off
  • Escalate and resolve issues related to customer complaints
  • Support and perform quality assurance-related activities
  • Perform software upgrades and provide helpdesk support as required
  • Communicate and work with the European Service Management team, the UK Management team, and other departments, manufacturers, and suppliers
  • Ensure demo and stock rooms are efficiently organized

Requirements:

  • Successful track record of complex installations
  • Life Science experience
  • Project management expertise
  • Willingness to travel
  • Automation experience (ideally script writing)
  • Ability to recognize and solve complex problems
  • Ability to communicate and understand the needs of both internal and external stakeholders
