Executive Director of Leisure Operations

**Leisure and Hospitality Leadership Role**
Exciting opportunity to take on a senior leadership position at a prestigious golf and leisure club. The Club is set amidst a 350-acre picturesque woodland site and features 24 holes of championship golf, a modern clubhouse, fitness suite, and Padel court.
As part of the club's restructuring, we are seeking an experienced executive to oversee the overall performance, design and implement a strategic growth plan, and deliver exceptional member, guest, and visitor experiences.
This key role entails:
- Owning and delivering the Club's strategic, capital, and annual plans.
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a strong management team with effective performance management and succession planning.
- Fostering a positive culture that promotes personal development, outstanding performance, and rewards excellence.
- Developing and executing innovative sales and marketing strategies to boost membership, visitor revenue, and secondary income streams.
- Presenting dynamic growth strategies to the Board, incorporating new opportunities that provide a return on investment and enhance the on-site portfolio.
- Collaborating with the Finance Team to maintain the Club's financial integrity and ensure adequate internal controls.
- Delivering exceptional experiences and delighting members, guests, and visitors at all times.
- Working with the Estates Director to maintain golf courses and practice facilities to the highest standards.
- Partnering with the Clubhouse Manager to provide a consistently exceptional Clubhouse experience.
**Key Requirements**
The ideal candidate should have:
- Senior management experience within a premium leisure or hospitality-based business.
- Strong strategic acumen and business management skills.
- Proven track record of implementing innovative sales and marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of Food and Beverage operations.
- Excellent financial acumen, including cost control, accurate reporting, and compliance.
- Highly personable, engaging, and visible leadership qualities.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build relationships with the Board, Team, and Members.
- Inspirational leadership capabilities.
- Commitment to progressing the Royal Norwich Club's performance and reputation.
Salary: £100,000 - £150,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
