Research Funding Specialist

The Research & Innovation Development Office at ARU is seeking an experienced professional to support the university's research excellence and income generation targets. As a Research Funding Manager, you will play a critical role in planning and managing funding applications to external funders, working closely with internal stakeholders across various disciplines.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development and submission of research funding applications to external funders
- Collaborate with researchers and academic staff to identify funding opportunities and develop grant proposals
- Manage and maintain accurate records of funding applications, awards, and expenditures
- Provide guidance and support on research funding policies and procedures
- Contribute to the development of research income generation strategies and plans
- Education to a degree level minimum
- Experience in supporting or assessing research funding applications at an HEI or funding body
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Highly organized, customer-focused, and able to prioritize a busy workload
- Good understanding of the funding landscape and research costing systems
