We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at CV-Library's partner school in Sevenoaks.

The successful candidate will work closely with the teacher to deliver high-quality education and create a supportive learning environment for Year 1 students.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  2. Collaborate with the teacher to monitor student progress, identify areas for improvement, and provide actionable feedback.
  3. Provide individualized support to students who require additional assistance, promoting academic growth and confidence.
  4. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and engagement.
  5. Adhere to school policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of students.

Requirements:

  1. Certified Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 3 minimum).
  2. Proven experience working with children in a primary school setting.
  3. Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and ability to develop creative lesson plans.
  4. Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to apply.
