About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial and contractual aspects of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage a team of quantity surveyors to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  2. Develop and implement effective quantity surveying strategies to optimize project outcomes.
  3. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  4. Manage and maintain accurate records of project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure that their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a quantity surveyor in a leading main contractor or Tier 1 contractor.
  2. Strong negotiating and communication skills.
  3. Experience working on large-scale projects, preferably in the education or healthcare sectors.
  4. Ability to lead and manage a team of quantity surveyors.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £80,000 - £90,000 DOE, plus a range of benefits, including a car allowance, pension, health and life insurance, and bonus.
