About the Role

Fawkes & Reece West Midlands is seeking a talented Apprentice Commercial Quantity Surveyor to join their team. As a leading Tier 1 Contractor, they work on projects for both public and private sector clients, delivering schemes up to 200m in value across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist in the preparation of tender documents and bids for commercial projects.
  2. Collaborate with the project team to ensure accurate measurement and valuation of construction work.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and other stakeholders.
  4. Contribute to the development of project schedules and budgets.
  5. Participate in site visits and inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, including MS Office and project management tools.
