Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all technical activities on assigned projects, including the preparation of proposals, project schedules, and coordination of all agreed engineering work. They will ensure that all work is conducted in full compliance with all applicable codes, accepted engineering practices, and V.Group standards and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans, conferring with management.
  • Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.
  • Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
  • Participate in/managing client/Contractor meetings and resolving client/engineering and project management issues.
  • Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
  • Verify and check all project deliverables.
  • Prepare project status reports.
  • Prepare and follow up on project purchase orders and invoices.
  • Set up and maintain projects according to company standards.
Requirements
  • Degree in Naval Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office pack.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Excellent communication and management skills.
