About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at Unique Training Solutions. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting, while promoting independence and dignity.
  • Support with Mobility and Physical Disabilities: Provide assistance with mobility problems, incontinence, and the use of aids and personal equipment.
  • Community Access: Support customers to access the community, including appointments, social outings, and shopping.
  • Housekeeping and Domestic Duties: Assist with making beds, tidying rooms, and performing general housekeeping duties as part of the team.
  • Culinary Skills: Prepare and serve meals, wash up, and maintain a clean and tidy dining and kitchen area.
  • Communication and Reporting: Answer the door and telephone, greet visitors, and report any concerns to the Manager or Care Services Officer.
Requirements
  • Confidentiality: Respect the confidentiality of all matters that may arise during employment.
  • Data Protection and Health & Safety: Comply with EVOLVE's guidelines, policies, and procedures, and be aware of responsibilities under the Data Protection Act 1998 and Health & Safety at Work, etc Act 1974.

  • Self-Motivation: Demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and a strong work ethic.
  • Organisation and Flexibility: Be able to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations.
  • Caring and Sensitive: Show a genuine care and sensitivity towards the needs of others.
  • Good Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Driver's Licence and Own Transport: Hold a full driver's licence and have access to a reliable vehicle.

Working Hours and Pay

Early shift: 6am to 2pm

Late shift: 3pm to 10.30pm
