About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at a reputable daytime restaurant in the UK. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality dishes and contributing to the success of our kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant's standards.
  • Assist the Head Chef in creating menu items, recipes, and developing new dishes to enhance our culinary offerings.
  • Contribute to the management of health and safety protocols in the kitchen, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
  • Assist with the management of food hygiene practices, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to help them develop their culinary skills.
  • Monitor portion control and waste management, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Inspect cooking equipment, supplies, work areas, and ingredients to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Working Conditions

The Chef position is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, with daytime shifts from 8am to 4pm, 5 days out of 7. You will be required to have your own transportation due to the location of the restaurant.
