Position Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Poultry Operations Supervisor to oversee the management of a substantial egg-laying flock. This role involves working independently after receiving training to ensure the highest standards of animal welfare.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor the health and welfare of a flock of 16,000 hens, ensuring they have adequate access to water, feed, and ventilation.
2. Responsible for the collection of eggs and maintaining cleanliness between production cycles.
3. Implement best practices in poultry management to enhance productivity and welfare.
Work Environment:
This position offers a favorable work-life balance in a picturesque location, complemented by a competitive salary package. Accommodation in the form of a three-bedroom bungalow will be provided.
Working Hours:
The role requires a commitment of approximately 48 hours per week.
