Ticketing Executive Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Ticketing Executive to join our team at Travel Trade Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that tickets are issued accurately and on a timely basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all queues are kept up to date, including schedule changes, general, web, native, and re-issues.
  • Verify that all Q's are checked at the end of the day to ensure that all tickets have been issued.
  • Complete re-issues within deadlines.
  • Monitor fuel, tax, and fare increases, and notify agents and clients accordingly.
  • Monitor schedule changes and advise agents and customers of any disruptions.
  • Assist the crisis team with airline service disruptions and ensure contingency plans are followed.
  • Process airline refunds within set guidelines.
  • Assist the reservations team with fare queries and liaise with scripting companies.
  • Deal with fare queries from online partners and ensure fares are released correctly into GDS.
  • Provide out-of-hours support on a rota basis or to cover sickness.
Requirements:
  • Excellent fares and ticketing knowledge.
  • Strong GDS knowledge, including Amadeus and Travelport.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively.
  • Strong product knowledge and business awareness.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
Experience:

A minimum of 2 years' experience in airline reservations/ticketing is required, with solid knowledge of GDS, especially Amadeus and Travelport. The successful candidate will be well-organized and able to work to deadlines, with the ability to cover out-of-hours support on a rota basis.

Package:

In return, you will receive a competitive basic salary of up to 28k, plus extra for covering out-of-hours support, hybrid working, discounted travel, and incentives.
