About the Role

Main Duties:

  • Participate in the day-to-day implementation of individual support plans and activities.
  • Maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families, and others while respecting confidentiality.
  • Support service users with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, cleaning, and social events.
  • Keep accurate records of service user interactions and activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality care and support.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards one.
  • Experience supporting adults with challenging behavior, learning disabilities, and/or mental health issues.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Confidence working independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
