Job Overview

As a Senior Configuration Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting a dynamic team of configuration specialists across multiple products, packages, and life cycles in a multi-national environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Configuration Manager to ensure the integrity of product definitions and configuration management processes.

• Develop and maintain high-quality configuration management processes and procedures.

• Provide expert guidance on configuration management principles and practices to project teams.

• Ensure compliance with relevant internal and external customer requirements and standards.

• Utilize the company's PLM tool, Windchill, to reflect engineering input into design definitions and structures.

• Manage design definitions for multiple product variants and implement engineering changes accordingly.

• Review and approve engineering changes to ensure business processes are applied and approbation controls are met.

• Provide comprehensive and timely preparation for configuration meetings and data provision to the project team.

• Establish and maintain working relationships with key stakeholders, including project and engineering teams.

• Support and guide project areas on applicable engineering change methodologies and processes.

Requirements

• SC Cleared or eligible for SC Clearance.

• Excellent team spirit and ability to work collaboratively.

• High level of knowledge in configuration management principles and practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to build rapport with stakeholders and promote the Configuration Management group.

• Pro-active, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to work.

• Ability to plan and deliver own workload.

• High degree of IT literacy.

Working Arrangements

The role is hybrid with 2-3 days on site and the rest remote. Likely for an extension for the right candidate.
