Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Staffordshire Moorlands

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced teaching assistant to join our team in the Staffordshire Moorlands area. As a teaching assistant, you will be working in a fantastic secondary school, providing support to students and teachers on a regular basis.

This is a long-term role, requiring a flexible work approach and a commitment to supporting the school in a teaching assistant capacity. You will need to have a relevant Level 3 teaching assistant qualification and be able to provide your certificate for this qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to students and teachers in a secondary school setting
  • Work on a 1-1 basis with students, providing individualized support and guidance
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery, as required
  • Support the school in maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Relevant Level 3 teaching assistant qualification
  • Recent experience working with children, ideally in a school setting
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Flexible work approach and commitment to supporting the school
