Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the UK's journey towards Net Zero 2050? We're seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial Scheduler to join our Technical Communities in the South West of England.

About the Role

As a Commercial Scheduler, you will be responsible for establishing, developing, and maintaining project schedules and plans for the Central Controls Team or one of the Programme Controls Teams. This will involve:

  • Producing and maintaining the schedule baseline IWS in Primavera 6 (P6), with fully logic-linked work plans aligned to the Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and utilizing approved construction techniques;
  • Ensuring the Level 2 IWS is updated to an agreed timeframe for monthly reporting;
  • Ensuring the HPC Level 3 schedules are updated when required to reflect work progress and performance, to an agreed timeframe defined by the Central Controls Team;
  • Maintaining daily and weekly work planning in 4D model;
  • Providing quality checks on the Scheduling data;
  • Identifying, analyzing, and providing solutions to time-related issues;
  • Coordinating and producing schedule reports to a defined reporting cycle;
  • Assisting in the Trend & Change process, including analysis of schedule impact, generating performance indicators, and providing feedback on areas of risk and opportunities;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A detailed understanding of scheduling methodologies and techniques;
  • Technical and practical comprehension of engineering, procurement, and construction methods and techniques in a UK context;
  • Ability to produce accurate, complete, and fully logic-linked construction plans;
  • Good working knowledge of P6;
  • High level of analytical and numerical skills;
  • Good attention to detail;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
