About the Role

Pay Details: Grade 4 SP £23,500 - £24,294 + SEN allowance Pro rata (pending 2024 pay agreement)

Hours of Work / Weeks per year / Working Pattern: Full Time (Monday- Friday 8.30pm - 3.30pm) Term time only.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of high-quality educational experiences for pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and/or social, emotional, and mental health needs.
  • Assist in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment that promotes pupil engagement and enjoyment.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement curriculum plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Provide individualized support to pupils, focusing on their strengths and areas of need.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive school culture that values diversity and promotes social-emotional well-being.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of the needs of learners with ALN and/or social, emotional, and mental health needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and other support personnel to achieve educational goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational environment.
