Learning Disabilities Support Worker

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Disabilities Support Worker to join our team. As a Learning Disabilities Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic care and support to individuals with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs.
Job Summary:
- Provide individualized support to residents to help them achieve their goals and live as independently as possible.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
- Assist residents with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Encourage and support residents to participate in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
- Monitor and record resident progress, reporting any concerns or changes to the care team.
Requirements:
- At least 6 months of experience working in a social care setting.
- Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- The right to work in the UK.
- TMVA certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Full UK manual license.
