We are seeking experienced and student Nurses to join our dynamic team at the Great North Children's Hospital, part of The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for motivated professionals to contribute to delivering high-quality patient care in various wards and departments. As a Children's Staff Nurse, you will be accountable for assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating care in the Peri-Operative environment.
You will provide effective support to patients and carers throughout their care pathway, abide by Trust policies and procedures, and act as patient advocate in accordance with NMC Code / Health and Care Professions Council standards.
You will also have opportunities to develop your skills and expertise through our Education Team, which offers preceptorship days, bespoke paediatric clinical skills training, and mandatory training updates.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary, estimated at £34,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will work across multiple sites, including Freeman Hospital, Royal Victoria Infirmary, and others, overseeing over 2 million patient contacts each year.
