About the Role

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified nurse to join our Integrated Medicine care group at UHND. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of Ward 6.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide individualised care to patients, utilising your excellent clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Assist with education and supervision of learners, promoting their development and growth within the healthcare sector.
  • Supervise and coordinate other staff as necessary, ensuring seamless workflow and effective teamwork.
  • Take charge of the ward or department in the absence of the designated person, demonstrating leadership and problem-solving abilities.
What We Offer

We provide comprehensive hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham - as well as planned care in Bishop Auckland and community hospitals across the region.

  • NMC registration is essential for this role.
Employment Details

The successful candidate will be employed by County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust, based at University Hospital Of North Durham, North Road, Durham, DH1 5TW. A competitive salary of £31,800 - £43,041 per annum, depending on experience, will be offered.
