Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and direction to the nursing team
  • Ensure the delivery of quality care by continually assessing residents' needs and wishes
  • Work alongside staff to support, feedback, and develop their clinical skills and experience
  • Champion independence and personal choice by developing, reviewing, and updating care plans
  • Build the positive reputation of the home by liaising professionally with visitors
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and best practice guidelines
  • Oversee all aspects of medicine management
  • Conduct care audits and monitor standards of care
  • Promote high standards of nursing care and actively seek ways to improve levels of service
  • Take an active role in training for the team and ensure that nursing staff are kept up to date with current practices and research-led developments
  • Take a leadership role for your team and ensure all staff are supervised appropriately

Requirements:

  • RGN with a current NMC PIN registration
  • Interest in Nursing and Dementia Care
  • Possess necessary clinical skills for advanced complex care
  • Be flexible and adaptable, well-organised, and able to manage time and workload effectively
  • Have a desire to expand your professional development and support organisational change
  • Have a legal right to work in the UK

Working Hours:

  • 36 hours per week
  • 12 hour shifts, 8 hour shifts, day shifts, Monday to Friday, weekend availability

Pay: From £25.00 per hour
