Job Summary

Klick Health is seeking a talented Freelance Mid-Weight Copywriter to join our team. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for generating innovative ideas, creating compelling advertising and promotional copy, and developing texts from draft stage through finished product with your art partner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop effective advertising campaigns that reflect clients' objectives and demonstrate a strategic and tactical approach during meetings with clients and Client Service teams.
  • Understand the target audience and adjust copy as required, contributing innovative ideas that challenge the status quo and defend strengths of existing concepts while remaining open to input and further explorations.
  • Proactively anticipate and solve creative problems, following all pieces of copy through the agency process in collaboration with all key stakeholders to ensure messages are both strategically and medically accurate.
  • Present concepts and creative work in an organized, professional, and effective style to clients, properly preparing for all client presentations.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on client expectations and meet objectives consistently, monitoring work and progress by supervising the work of junior creatives and providing support as needed.
  • Understand how budgets and schedules are developed and how this links to business and performance, ensuring verification of facts and claims with science and regulatory groups at Klick.
  • Coordinate with Client Service team to identify and obtain information needed to carry out assignments in a timely and effective manner, developing and seeking cross-discipline learning from colleagues and vendors to ensure highest quality product within specified deadlines.
  • Keep up to date on industry trends and share knowledge with internal teams.

Requirements:

  • Effective oral and written communications skills, strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, and decisive problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work well within a team setting, with a working knowledge of product challenges in relation to overall market and computer proficiency in word processing programs.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Advertising/Marketing, Communications, Writing, or related discipline preferred, with 3+ years of experience in marketing/advertising business experience preferred.
  • Comfort with and enthusiasm for integrating AI into your work.
