Senior UX Designer for DeFi and Trading

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UX Designer to join our team at Spectrum Search. As a Senior UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience for our DeFi and trading products.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to influence the future of DeFi trading through user-centred design. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to craft seamless, intuitive, and engaging user journeys.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Head of Product to define a UX vision that enhances DeFi and trading product interactions
  • Lead user research and competitive analysis to deeply understand the behaviours, needs, and pain points of both novice and experienced users in the crypto and trading space
  • Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for fast iteration and testing
  • Implement scalable design systems, ensuring a consistent and polished user experience across mobile and web interfaces
  • Create and optimise user journeys tailored to the DeFi and trading landscape
  • Focus on micro-interactions that build trust, enhance user satisfaction, and elevate the user experience in high-stakes trading environments
Requirements

We are looking for a highly experienced UX Designer with a strong background in designing B2C digital products. Prior experience with DeFi, blockchain, or trading platforms is highly desirable.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • 8+ years in UX/product design, with significant experience in designing B2C digital products
  • Strong experience in leading user research, synthesising findings, and using data-driven insights to influence design decisions
  • Ability to lead design discussions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create best-in-class product experiences
  • Familiarity with Agile and Lean methodologies, working in fast-paced, iterative development cycles
