About the Role

We are seeking a male mental health support worker to join our team at Enfield Council's Mental Health Enablement Service. The successful candidate will work closely with individuals who have severe and enduring mental health support needs, providing short-term intensive support to achieve personalized outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Working 1:1 with clients in their homes and in the community, providing support to access opportunities in employment, education, and leisure.
  • Resettlement and outreach work, including support to access community links and resources.
  • Working as part of a supportive team, with induction, supervision, and training available.
  • Requiring a driver with a full UK driving licence, with a pool car available for use.
What We Offer

As a male mental health support worker with Enfield Council, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with severe and enduring mental health support needs. You will work in a supportive team environment, with access to induction, supervision, and training. A full UK driving licence is required, with a pool car available for use.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a driver with a full UK driving licence. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A background in mental health support or a related field is desirable, but not essential.
