Job Title: Chef

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our Catering team at Angel Hill, a leading provider of contract catering services. As a Chef, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food and drink offerings to our clients and site visitors.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure food quality and taste meet the highest standards.
  • Manage inventory of stock and order raw materials efficiently.
  • Control budgets and minimize wastage.
  • Maintain health and hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Prepare and cook food for clients and customers.
  • Support the site in the absence of the Senior Chef.
Requirements:
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Driven and enthusiastic individual.
  • Autonomous approach with a willingness to work well in a team.
  • Food handling certificate (or willingness to attain).
  • Background in contract catering (ideal but not essential).
  • City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or level 2 diploma in Professional Cookery (or equivalent).
  • Excellent knowledge of health and safety and food safety.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Passion for food and service with the ability to prepare and cook good quality seasonal food.
