Join Our Team as a Specialty Doctor in Psychiatry

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Doctor to join our team at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a leading provider of mental health services, we offer a dynamic and supportive environment for our staff to grow and develop their careers.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy Older Adults in-patient unit, Edward Street Hospital, Sandwell. The post holder will work closely with Consultant Psychiatrists, SAS Doctors, and Junior/Trainee Doctors to provide high-quality patient care. Our Trust provides a wide range of mental health services, including specialist learning disability services and CAMHS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
  • Participate in teaching and training activities, including undergraduate and postgraduate education
  • Engage in research and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 4 years of experience in psychiatry
