Job Description

Expleo Group UK Jobs is seeking an experienced Automotive Passive Safety Engineer to join our client's research and development facility in the UK. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the passive safety performance of vehicles meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct safety performance planning and analysis of CAE and physical test results
  • Develop and implement test plans to evaluate vehicle safety
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize vehicle safety systems
  • Interpret and analyze regulatory and consumer-based passive safety crash tests
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in vehicle safety technology

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in a field such as engineering, physics, or mathematics
  • Proven experience in passive safety performance, safety restraints systems, body engineering, or electrical architecture and systems
  • Strong understanding of vehicle passive safety design concepts and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel within Europe and hold a valid UK/European driving license
