Automotive Engine Test Engineer

Seismic Recruitment is seeking an experienced Automotive Engine Test Engineer to join a leading test facility in Bedford. As a key member of the Propulsion team, you will be responsible for delivering engineering objectives and processing engine test data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engineering objectives set by senior engineers and managers.
  • Process and validate engine test data.
  • Analyse engine data and identify trends and causes for concern.
  • Track project efficiency and maintain project-related invoicing.
  • Devise and lead initiatives to reduce waste and optimise efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Automotive/Mechanical Engineering HND or Degree (Relevant experience of testbed operation will be considered in place of qualifications).
  • 1-2 years minimum experience in an automotive engineering discipline.
  • Test bed experience in an automotive testing environment.
