A Challenging yet Rewarding Teaching Role
We are seeking a talented and dedicated geography teacher to join our pool of supply staff in Bristol. As a supply teacher, you will have the flexibility to work in various schools across the city, on your own schedule, gaining experience in different educational settings while helping ensure continuity of learning for students.
About the Role:
- Teaching Responsibilities: Deliver engaging lessons in your subject specialism or other subjects as required, following lesson plans provided by the regular teacher or adapting to the needs of the class.
- Classroom Management: Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Student Support: Support students of all abilities, including those with special educational needs (SEND) if applicable.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other staff members and communicate effectively with school leadership.
- Professional Conduct: Maintain a high standard of professional conduct and appearance.
About You:
- Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience: Proven experience working as a teacher, either on a permanent or supply basis.
- Skills: Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students, flexibility and adaptability to work across different subjects, age groups, and school environments, excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Certifications: Enhanced DBS check (we can assist in obtaining this if needed).
- Passion: Passion for teaching and making a positive impact on student learning.
Salary and Benefits:
- Competitive pay: £25,600 - £38,000 per year (based on 190 days/year)
