Job Summary:

NHS Lothian seeks a highly skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a specialist clinician, you will be responsible for assessing and treating a diverse range of paediatric and adult patients in General Practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize high levels of decision making and clinical judgment to assess and treat patients.
  • Ensure patient health needs are met through diagnosis and management of patient conditions.
  • Provide specialist advice to healthcare professionals, other agencies, carers, clients, and relatives.
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary general practice team to meet patient needs.
  • Support the development and delivery of policy and procedures, and provide nurse and clinical leadership as required.

Requirements:

  • Membership of the PVG Scheme or ability to obtain.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
