Exciting opportunities await at NHS National Services Scotland for a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our esteemed pharmacy team. This challenging role will primarily focus on the provision of a safe and effective service within our pharmacy aseptic unit.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supplying biological medicines, centralized intravenous additive services (CIVAS), systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT), and total parenteral nutrition (TPN) with precision and care.

This is an exciting time for University Hospital Monklands, as we continue to introduce innovative technologies such as Hospital Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (HEPMA) and plan for the development of new aseptic facilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Masters of Pharmacy Degree
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Continuing Professional Development as detailed by the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Relevant post-registration experience in hospital pharmacy
  • Postgraduate training and professional development in clinical pharmacy practice
  • Demonstrable experience in providing a clinical pharmacy service to a defined patient group
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £45,725 per annum, rising to £74,800, depending on length of service and location. The benefits package includes:
