About the Role

We are seeking a skilled BoM Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team at Forseven, a revolutionary company transforming the EV industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices.

The successful candidate will operate in a hybrid capacity out of our offices in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, working alongside visionary minds in the automotive field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Design, Engineering, and Technical Procurement functions to ensure accurate BoM data, including part specification, source codes, weight, quantity, and metadata.
  • Extract vehicle BoM for GMT projects from 3DX, sending/uploading it to tools like Smartsheet and ProjectEx for project ETRS reports and status.
  • Conduct BoM correctness exercises before each gateway and when massive incorrectness is detected.
  • Develop documentation on BoM processes where necessary.
  • Feed data from EBoM to MBoM, ERP system, Smartsheet, Mass, and Cost tracker on a regular basis, assisting the ERP team in keeping data updated.
  • Use high-level product specifications to develop an initial BoM for concept cost and timing.
  • Regularly check the part list, releasing the BoM in 3DX during the BoM freeze.
  • Liaise with 3DX, Smartsheet, and function groups to keep the system and tracker updated.
  • Manage the Standard parts catalogue and liaise with suppliers.
