About the Opportunity

YHA New Forest is seeking a highly motivated Hostel Manager to join our team, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our hostel.

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 42.50 hours per week, with a salary range of £30,749 - £36,180 per annum, plus staff accommodation at £63.70 per week.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the daily operations of the hostel, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, customer service, and staff supervision.
  2. Maintain accurate records of inventory, laundry, and cleaning schedules, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  3. Supervise and train housekeeping staff, equipping them with the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in hospitality or a related field, with a focus on team management and customer service excellence.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with an ability to adapt to changing situations.
