About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Band 5 Nurse to join our Alcohol Care Team at North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to patients with alcohol misuse issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients with alcohol misuse issues and develop comprehensive care plans to address their needs.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support to patients.
  • Provide training and education to Trust staff on screening and brief interventions for alcohol misuse.
  • Participate in the development and delivery of education programs to promote public health and prevention.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to alcohol misuse.
Requirements
  • RMN or RGN at degree level (or equivalent) with Current NMC Registration.
  • Awareness of the need for a multi-agency approach to care planning for patients who abuse alcohol.
  • Experience of working in the substance and alcohol use sector.
  • Experience in multi-agency working and training.
