NHS Specialist Health Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated NHS Specialist Health Nurse to join our spinal team at North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients with spinal pain or pathologies.
Main Responsibilities- Exercise evidence-based nursing intervention with clinical support and supervision from the team to patients with spinal pain and pathologies.
- Undertake training to clinically assess patients and perform interventional procedures as necessary.
- Participate in nurse-led clinics under the supervision of the Multi-disciplinary team.
- Be responsible for the assessment of care needs, development, implementation, and evaluation of programmes of care in consultation with the Specialist Nursing team.
- Be actively involved in formal/informal educational programmes to qualified nursing staff and students.
- Actively participate in the promotion of health education and prevention of illness.
- Linking in with the multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic care.
- Follow department and Trust policy, and contribute to the development of nursing policy.
- Demonstrate commitment to IWL principles and flexible working patterns, to meet the needs of the service and staff.
