This is a full-time, permanent role that involves multiple projects across the West Midlands and South West. The Regional Office is located in Bristol, and Galliford Try operates an Agile Working policy.
As a Senior Planning Manager, you will provide full life-cycle planning support to multiple projects, including tenders, pre-construction, and live projects. You will review documents, specifications, and scopes to identify contract requirements and major constraints.
You will be responsible for providing detailed tender programmes, method statements, and logistics proposals for inclusion in tender submissions. This will involve visiting sites to ascertain conditions and constraints to be taken into account when preparing tender programmes and method statements.
You will promote the company at tender and contract interviews, presentations, and meetings. You will also produce detailed fully integrated design, procurement, and construction stage Contract Programmes.
In addition, you will identify alternative methodologies/sequences that improve project completion date(s). You will report progress on pre-construction and live projects, foreseeing potential delays and advising of mitigation measures.
You will develop Construction, Completion, and Mitigation Programmes at relevant stages of the projects, whilst maintaining Contract integrity as required. You will update contract programmes to demonstrate entitlement to EOT, where applicable.
You will support the Business in claims and/or disputes. You will ensure that the programme content and functionality is compliant with Galliford Try's Planning Processes and Procedures.
Main Contractor Planning experience is essential. A full UK driving licence is also essential.
Proficiency in Power Project (formerly Asta) is essential. We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
