Environmental Sustainability Specialist

L3Harris Technologies is a leading provider of advanced defense and commercial technologies. We are seeking a skilled Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of our environmental sustainability strategy. This will involve working closely with our Senior Quality, EHS and Facilities Manager to ensure conformance to ISO14001, ISO45001, and business requirements.
Responsibilities will include:
- Identifying training needs and developing training materials, such as toolbox talks.
- Liaising with stakeholders regarding environmental and health and safety issues.
- Coordinating and reporting on continual improvement programs within the business.
- Supporting environmental sustainability improvements in line with L3Harris UK targets.
- Reviewing and improving current working practices with regards to health and safety.
- Conducting and supporting risk assessments.
- Performing internal audits across the Business Management System.
The ideal candidate will have a degree-level qualification in a related field and excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Experience using root cause analysis tools and internal audit training in ISO management standards would be an advantage.
