Job Title: Finance Business Partner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team at phs Compliance. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and advice to senior management, supporting the Managing Director in the development of the business, and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and manage the annual budget, monthly forecast, and detailed reporting and analysis of any variances.
  • Provide proactive and meaningful financial analysis and advice on operational issues and commercial decision-making.
  • Support the Managing Director in the development of the business, including pricing policy, business cases, and capex requirements.
  • Provide incisive and user-friendly management information to allow fact-based decision making.
  • Prepare the Division's monthly trading reviews and board reports.
  • Co-ordinate the Division's budget and forecasting processes.
  • Ensure a robust financial control infrastructure and financial systems operate to the highest standards.
  • Work with the MD and leaders to develop pricing policies and business processes to improve operational efficiency and divisional profitability.
  • Manage cash collection and deliver budgeted DSO.
Requirements:
  • A commercially astute, proactive self-starter with a recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, ACMA).
  • Business Partner experience within a senior management team, understanding key business drivers that contribute to value.
  • Experience of sustaining profitability, quality, and service standards using key performance indicators and ratios.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to contribute to strategy and policy development.
  • Broad financial management experience in a business-to-business service organisation.
