We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Team Leader to join our team at NP Aerospace. As a key member of our production team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Production:
- Allocate manpower to meet production targets and maintain operational excellence.
- Analyze and communicate production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) at daily shopfloor board meetings.
- Maintain daily production output and actively problem-solve where issues arise.
- People:
- Identify training needs, carry out training, and oversee outputs to assess team competence.
- Carry out first-line Human Resources (HR) duties, including job chats, return-to-work meetings, and holiday administration.
- Promote and develop inter-team labour flexibility within their area through total employee involvement.
- Processes:
- Conduct risk assessments to ensure safe methods and systems of work.
- Plan to achieve production targets, track results, and carry out root cause countermeasures as required.
- Carry out Start-of-Shift Meetings and toolbox talks.
- Product:
- Aim for continuous improvement through effective communication throughout all teams.
- Promote, through individual accountability, the highest quality standards allied to the manufactured product.

Requirements- Team Leader experience in a manufacturing setting is an advantage.
- Maths and Comprehension test to be completed.

- Solid understanding of core disciplines and intermediate level IT skills.
- Commitment to being actively present with the workforce for continuous monitoring, evaluation, and supervision.
