Team Leader

Recra Consulting is partnering with a reputable fabrication/sheet metal company to find a skilled Team Leader. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our production team.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and motivate a team of skilled fabricators and welders to achieve optimal performance and productivity.
- Maintain and enforce quality standards throughout the production process to meet customer requirements.
- Oversee daily operations, including workflow planning, resource allocation, and troubleshooting as needed.
- Ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols and regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a steel fabrication or related manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Solid understanding of steel fabrication processes, machinery, and tools.
- TIG & MIG qualifications.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding codes to ensure accurate execution of welds.
- Commitment to promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
