About the Technical Product Owner Role

This role will drive the roadmap and strategy to deliver common FAS data pipelines for International FAS teams. You will work closely with stakeholders in all three regions: Americas, Europe, and APAC, to identify common requirements and work toward a solution that meets the needs of all regions in a timely manner. Collaboration with the Marketing Technology team will be necessary to set the roadmap for ingesting 3rd party data sources in support of data needs. Additionally, you will lead the Global FAS Pipeline Steering Committee to gain alignment of priorities across regions, ensuring a technical solution is agreed upon, and driving regional adoption of FAS pipelines within an agreed-upon time horizon.

About the FAS Common Pipelines Team

The FAS Common Pipelines team will be co-led by the Technical Product Manager and Technical Lead, based in APAC, complemented by offshore engineering resources. You will be empowered to define the collaboration strategy, requiring flexibility to work real-time with APAC resources.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical product management activities for multiple technical products or one strategic technical product, participating in the design and continuous improvement of the technical solution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create best practices driving significant change to the client experience.
  • Coach technical product teams towards best practices and learnings, ensuring delivery of messaging, communication, and customer outreach as necessary.
  • Partner with stakeholders to resolve production and implementation issues in a timely manner, supporting escalations where required to enable rapid delivery.
  • Lead the planning, development, and implementation of new technical products, defining and analyzing technical markets, developing detailed product features and requirements, and developing implementation plans.
  • Employ a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience.

Requirements

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to support negotiation, conflict resolution, and prioritization discussions.
  • Experience gathering requirements and challenging existing ways of thinking to identify the most efficient method of design, adept at documenting functional and non-functional requirements in a data landscape.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and demonstrated experience in working independently or in a team, handling tasks with analytical skills.
  • In-depth experience working as a Business Analyst in the data and analytics field to deliver insightful analysis and reporting solutions.
  • SQL knowledge and practical experience of data exploration, data quality analysis, testing, and data reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of ERD, Data Modelling, and Data Warehouse principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-manage with competing priorities, high attention to detail, and well-organized.
  • Experience participating in SCRUM-Agile based teams.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required, with a graduate degree preferred, and a minimum of five years related work experience.
  • Two years of leading large cross-functional teams on major organizational projects preferred.
