Administrative Assistant NHS Team

We are looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our NHS team. As a Receptionist/Medical Secretary, you will be the first point of contact for patients, handling appointments, telephone inquiries, and prescription requests. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and overseeing site administration tasks.
This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as experience in a healthcare environment. You will be working in a fast-paced team environment, liaising with patients, healthcare professionals, and other services.
Main Responsibilities:
- Managing patient correspondence, referrals, and documentation
- Maintaining accurate patient records using EMIS Web
- Liaising with patients, healthcare professionals, and other services
- Using Docman for scanning and summarizing medical records
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a GP surgery or similar administrative role
- Strong knowledge of EMIS Web system and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and confidentiality
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
