About the Job
Care South at Home is seeking a skilled and compassionate Home Care Assistant to join our team. As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care services to individuals in their own homes. Your primary responsibility will be to provide personalized care and companionship to our clients, enhancing their overall well-being.
Responsibilities and Requirements
Key responsibilities will include identifying the needs and abilities of our clients, providing personal care and encouragement, and supporting clients with community visits. To succeed in this role, you should have a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients. Previous experience is not essential, as full training is provided.
Salary and Benefits
Our salary package includes:
- £12.50 per hour.
- £2.00 per hour Bank Holiday enhancement rate.
- Paid travel time.
- 40p per mile mileage allowance.
- Free life assurance for staff with contracted hours.
- A Blue Light discount card.
- Access to an Employee Assistance Programme.
