St John Ambulance is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Services Coordinator to join their Shared Services Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in debt recovery and invoicing, with excellent communication and engagement skills.

The role will be based at the company's shared services centre in Sheffield, where you will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid model once your training has been completed. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for receiving, considering, and resolving enquiries from staff, line managers, volunteers, customers, and suppliers, providing an effective resolution at the first point of contact whenever possible.

The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering quality service and will have experience of dealing with debt recovery processes in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment. You will have an eye for detail, excellent communication and engagement skills, and be able to work as part of a dynamic team.

The role offers a competitive salary and pension scheme, 33 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays) - increasing to 38 days over 5 years, hybrid, flexible working, cycle to work scheme, health and wellbeing portal, and discounts on mobile phones, gym membership, cinema tickets, restaurants, holidays, and shopping.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent (Grade C), minimum of 5 including Maths & English. You will be passionate about delivering quality service and will have experience of dealing with debt recovery processes in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.

About the Role

  • Receive, consider, and resolve enquiries from staff, line managers, volunteers, customers, and suppliers, providing an effective resolution at the first point of contact whenever possible.
  • Provide customer service that places the customer at the heart of all we do and enhances the reputation and efficiency of St John Ambulance.
  • Ensure that up-to-date records are maintained of every enquiry, allowing others to accurately understand the status.
  • Where an enquiry cannot be resolved at first point, own the task to resolution, or escalate through appropriate channels.
