Job Summary:

As a Regional Lead Occupational Therapist and Sensory Practitioner at Elysium Healthcare, you will be responsible for the line management, professional leadership, and development of the Occupational Therapy Service across the Midlands and Yorkshire region. With a strong emphasis on teamwork, you will receive support from a regional network of healthcare professionals and enjoy access to a variety of online and CPD training courses to support your career goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing professional management and leadership for the Occupational therapy service across Yorkshire and the Midlands.

Providing expert advice and expertise regarding the Occupational therapy profession to the regional team regarding service development and workforce planning.

Establishing, monitoring, and evaluating an effective supervision framework for the Occupational Therapy team and applying processes to manage performance.

Supporting recruitment of Occupational Therapy staff across the region.

Identifying training needs for Occupational therapy staff and participating in the development and delivery of Occupational Therapy CPD opportunities.

Requirements:

Qualified and registered as an Occupational Therapist.

At least 6 years post-qualifying experience.

Registered with the HCPC and meet the necessary continuing professional development requirements in order to remain on the register.

Hold the relevant sensory practitioner qualifications.

A full and clean UK driving licence.
