About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team on a full-time basis, working 39 hours per week across night shifts. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing practical assistance and emotional support to empower individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and other complex needs to achieve their goals and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with complex needs, including elements of personal care and domestic tasks.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as shopping and meal preparation.
  • Support individuals to develop their skills and independence, promoting their health, well-being, and cultural and spiritual beliefs.
  • Complete records and documents, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or other complex needs is preferred, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Adaptability and flexibility, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • A driving licence is an essential requirement, with a reliable means of commuting to Carmarthen for shifts.
