About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to lead our team of surveyors in providing exceptional repairs and maintenance services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of up to 10 surveyors and working closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of surveyors in providing repairs and maintenance services
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders, including MPs, councillors, and local authorities
  • Diagnose repairs and specify remedial works using the NHF schedule of rates
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the surveying service
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver excellent results
Requirements
  • People management experience
  • Professional qualification in Building Surveying or relevant experience
  • Understanding of Section 20 processes
  • Demonstrable experience in providing excellent customer service
  • Application of NHF schedule of rates
  • Ability to influence and manage relationships with stakeholders
  • Comprehensive IT skills covering Microsoft Office Packages
