Job Title: Teaching Assistant - SEND Support

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with SEMH needs and be able to provide one-to-one support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting classroom activities under the guidance of a qualified teacher
  • Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Providing one-to-one support for students with SEND
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assisting with behaviour management and promoting positive behaviour
Requirements:
  • Teaching Assistant Level 1 qualification
  • First Aid certification
  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Teaching Assistant Level 2 or higher
Working Conditions:
  • Working in a classroom setting
  • Collaborating with teachers and other support staff
