Commodities Credit Analyst Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Commodities Credit Analyst to join our EMEA Commodities team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing insightful credit opinions and strong analysis to key stakeholders. Your expertise will be utilized to perform full credit analysis, including industry dynamics, financial modeling, liquidity, capital structure, and recovery analysis. You will also be responsible for continuous monitoring of operating performance of rated companies and participating in issuers meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform full credit analysis for determining ratings on commodities companies and their debt issues.
- Continuous monitoring of operating performance of rated companies, including review of public filings and private information supplied by issuers, and participation in issuers meetings.
We are looking for a candidate with a good understanding of financial and capital markets, macro-economics, and changing business environments. Strong interest in and knowledge of global commodities markets is essential. You should have prior credit analytics experience covering nonfinancial corporates, either in another credit rating agency, an investment bank, an asset manager, or another relevant institution. Strong financial statement analysis and modeling skills, good accounting knowledge, and ability to undertake rigorous analytical work are also required.
Requirements:
- Good understanding of financial and capital markets, macro-economics, and changing business environments.
- Strong interest in and knowledge of global commodities markets.
- Prior credit analytics experience covering nonfinancial corporates.
- Strong financial statement analysis and modeling skills.
- Good accounting knowledge.
- Ability to undertake rigorous analytical work.
